Bharat Mumbai Container Terminal (BMCT) is the largest container port of India. It has a total capacity of 4.5 million Twenty Foot Equivalent Units (TEU). The first few cranes itself were equipped with the twin lift facility. In 2021, BMCT’s estimated quay length would beover 2000m, while its total capacity would exceed 4.8 million TEU annually.
